#RevolutionaryLove Day Four: Teach a Young One about an Afrikan Ancestor.

Your Task: Teach a Young One about an Afrikan Ancestor (bloodine or little known).

Level 1 Task: Teach a Young One about an Afrikan Ancestor.

  •  Teach about an Afrikan ancestor in your bloodline or one who is outside the normal MLK, Rosa Parks, and Tubman paradigm.
  • We must expand who we teach our children about. For example, they should know about Yaa Asantewaa, Nat Turner, Queen Nzinga, Thomas Sankara, Patrice Lumumba, Marcus Garvey, Robert F. Williams, Ida B. Wells, Ella Baker, and many, many more.
  • Take the time to pass on the family and Ourstorical knowledge or learn yourself and then teach.

Level 2 Task: Create something to honor that Ancestor or Ancestors.

  • Using your Kuumba (Creativity), create something to honor that ancestor.
  • In addition, pour libation to your ancestors. They are waiting for us to call upon them.
  • Share on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. #RevolutionaryLove.
