Your Task: Teach the Pan-Afrikan Flag to Someone!
For the revolutionary love tasks over the next 14 days, there will be some tasks that come in two levels.
The first is Level 1, the basic level. It denotes the minimum action you must do as part of your commitment to the revolutionary love challenge.
The second is Level 2, the advanced level. It consists of the actions you should do if you want to be a true beacon of revolutionary love to the people around you. Given that all of us are here on SamoriCamara.com, I believe that we should all put our best foot forward for the challenge and go for Level 2 where possible, don’t you think?
With that said, let’s get started!
Level 1 Task: Teach the Colors and Significance of the Pan-Afrikan Flag.
- Share knowledge of our Pan-Afrikan flag created by the honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey. Whom once said “Show me the race or the nation without a flag, and I will show you a race of people without any pride.”The flag was created in 1920… It was created to give all Afrikan’s a flag that would represent our global solidarity and pride! It was premiered during a series of meetings held over the course of a month called “The International Convention of the Negro People of the World.” held in New York, by the U.N.I.A .The three Pan-Afrikan colors on the flag represent:
Red: the blood that unites all people of Black African ancestry, and shed for liberation;
Black: black people and Green: the abundant natural wealth of Africa.
Level 2 Task: Buy or Create the Pan-Afrikan Flag and Display it in your Home.
- Create or buy the Pan-Afrikan Flag and display it prominently in your home. It’s something we should see everyday. For me, wherever I see, it recharges my #RevolutionaryLove.
Share your experiences of #RevolutionaryLove in the comment section.
Do you teach someone about the flag? How many?
